Bringing back the success from the first edition, we encourage Medical Diagnostic Laboratories in UAE & GCC to participate in the “Sustainability in the Lab” award for Medlab Middle East 2024.

Why should you participate?
Climate change is a global emergency that goes beyond global scale.
Laboratories and the need for green.
Commitment of leadership and effective training is needed to empower the culture of sustainability in the lab.
Laboratories shall take initiatives "Towards Zero Carbon".
Lab Sustainability Awards and the SDG
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by United Nations in 2015 for peace and prosperity for now and future, and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), heart of this were adopted by the United Nations and world leaders. By 2030, the SDGs aim to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.
The Lab Sustainability Awards encourages action on a range of sustainable laboratory areas, and link to one of the 17 SDGs. By participating in the Lab Sustainability Awards, you and your team will be directly contributing to helping achieve the SDGs.
How you can be a part of the awards?
Evidences (such as projects, innovation, video link, photos, KPIs, etc) are required to be submitted as separate files. A maximum of five attachments are allowed with a maximum single file size of 4MB per attachment describing the below sustainability practices in the lab.

Submission of entries start on 27 December 2023
Deadline for submission is 25 January 2024
There will be three winners (Gold, Silver, Bronze) that will be announced during “Sustainability in the lab” conference on 8 February 2024

Top 5 labs will be pre-selected as top 5 finalists to present for 5 mins each at the Sustainability in lab conference at Medlab Middle East 2024 on 8 February 2024.
